New website

We are moving our website to clubspark. You might have seen clubspark already for booking floodlit courts and coaching classes. Clubspark is run by the LTA and therefore you'll be able to use the same login information for LTA, bookings and your membership details. Whilst we are in a period of transition you'll notice that pages will disappear from here and then redirect you over to the new website. At sometime over the next few weeks, you'll notice that http://www.gmltc.com will point directly to that website.

New news items are now posted on https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/GreatMissendenLTC/News

If you find any problems then drop marketing@gmltc.com an email.

(Egg) Cracking Easter Fun

On Friday 7th April the club hosted an Easter tournament which saw 40+ players, young and not so young, on court playing an 'american' style event, with most people on court for 5 x 25 minute sets of mixed doubles.

The weather was fantastic, lovely spring sunshine.

Various Easter prizes were handed out and the tennis was followed by a superb chicken salad lunch.

Thanks to all involved in putting the event on and to everyone for making it a really enjoyable way to begin the Easter weekend.

Well done to all the juniors who participated in the Junior Club Championships on Saturday 25th March. There was some great tennis on display despite the blustery and showery conditions.

Everybody had great fun and in the rain breaks juniors enjoyed table tennis and delicious crepes made by Jill Stiel and Kate Miller. Thanks to them both and to all the older juniors and parents who helped with score keeping.

Real sportsmanship and consideration for other players was shown.
