AGM on Tuesday 24th January

It’s time to vote!
2016 wasn’t a good year for the pollsters when it came to forecasting the outcomes of certain votes but you can still make sure your voice is heard in deciding how we invest the club’s money. Come along to the AGM on Tuesday 24th January from 7.30 p.m.when you’ll hear about putting floodlights on courts 2 & 3, possibly digging up grass court 6, renovating the top clubhouse, padel tennis courts and more besides - plus a new President! Don’t miss the chance to have your say. Details of the investment proposals, all resolutions to be voted on and proxy voting can be found in the members’ area of the website (https://gmltc.clubbuzz.co.uk/login) and at the clubhouse.

Haven’t been on our website lately and forgotten how to access the Members Only area? Well here’s how to get logged on and into the members’ private area of the website: go to the website homepage at www.gmltc.com; click on ‘Login’ in the top right hand corner; next to ‘Forgotten your password’ click on ‘Reset your password’; then click on ‘Get a reminder’ next to ‘Forgotten your user name too?’. You’ll then receive an email from mail@clubbuzz.co.uk with instructions on how to set up your user name and password. Check your junk or spam folders to make sure that email doesn’t end up in there. Follow those instructions and you’ll be able to get online and view all of the information in the members’ area.

Sunday Fun Tennis – Looking For More Players

Our Sunday Fun Tennis League gets underway this weekend with six teams participating, which is a great result. We do however need many more Reserves to volunteer to participate. In the past we have found that Reserves have had many opportunities to play, but you don’t have to commit to a team. So if you’d like to play on the occasional Sunday afternoon between now and Easter put your name on the Doodle at: http://doodle.com/poll/fhv9rfwgdu7idnbv or email davidhowells.uk@gmail.com

Tuesday Men’s Night (TNT)
	Men’s Night (TNT) continues throughout the winter with floodlit courts 11/12/13 booked for their use every Tuesday from 1800-2100. All standards welcome – come along and have a knock. No invitation required.

Pie Night – 31st January
	Kate & Jill have very kindly volunteered to cook for a Pie Night on Tuesday 31st January after Men’s Night. Look out for the Doodle next week or book directly by sending an email to Jillstiel@gmail.com or davidhowells.uk@gmail.com

Are you an Architect?
	Is there anyone out there who is an architect and could help us with a bit of input, advice and perhaps an outline design plan to reconfigure the interior of the top clubhouse? If you could help, please contact Neil Miller at neil1miller@aol.com
