This session continues throughout the year and is open to all. We play from 10.00 till 12.00, swapping around every half hour. So come down ready to play for 10.00 or 10.30 or 11.00 etc. At 12.00 we stop for coffee and cake. We’re a very welcoming group so do please come and join us, a great way of meeting other members and enjoying more play.

In September, Scott, the head coach, will be joining us for the 2 hour sessions to give us some pointers. He will be there on Wednesday 5, 12 and 26 September. He will also be at the Monday evening ladies session on 17 September. So worth making a note in your diary and coming for some expert advice on those dates.

Raja Rajaram has represented the Junior section of the club on the Commitee over the last couple of years. He is stepping down as his work commitments are ramping up - many thanks for all your work to get Junior Night popular again and contributing to the commitee Raja!

Adeel Raza is taking over from Raja as of now. Adeel and his children, Haris and Syra, joined us in June - many thanks for volunteering to help the club Adeel! Adeel will work with Scott Paxton and Mike Doran to continue to build the junior section and would love to hear any parents views on the junior side of the club.

We are aware of the semi-circular crack that has appeared near the service line T of Court 16. We are liaising with our contractor to get it fixed. If using the court please take care near this area.

Our Sunday 4-6pm social will carry on until (hopefully) Sunday Fun Team Tennis is up and running again.

As with all things doodle, it’s there to help. If you can fill it in, great, if not no worries. If you find yourself at a loose end on Sunday afternoon with the urge to hit some balls you can just pop along and join in.

Calling all Summer Team captains whose season fixtures are coming to an end. Now’s the time to gather in the match fees and pay them into the club’s bank account. Thanks to the early birds who have done so already.

Please make sure the clubhouse entrance door fully closes and locks behind you when you leave. Some people may be just relying on the spring auto close and walking away rather than making sure it closes properly. Please also ensure that the door is"unsnibbed".

A set of red, orange and green mini-balls marked GMLTC are now available for parents to use. These are in buckets placed in the top club house.

Can parents please return the balls at the end of each session to the appropriate buckets. Thank you.
