The Roy Vincent Trophy - Saturday 25th June

It is ten years since I lost Roy and I gave the trophy to the club in his memory. For newer members who didn't know him, he was on the committee for many years and was captain and chairman as well.
The tournament is mixed doubles for all abilities from 16 years old.
We will start at 1.30pm by drawing for partners, so please enter individually. It will be a round robin to start with, the winners of the groups going through to play for the trophy.
There will be tea and cakes at about 4pm included in your entrance fee of £5 each. We will have a barbecue in the evening from 6pm. Salad and bread and pud provided but please bring your own meat. (£6 per person). Please enter by email to me anngvin@hotmail.com or on the list in the club house by June 20th.

Summer Sizzler

Come and support the Club's Summer Sizzler with a Las Vegas theme, an event not to be missed. Saturday 9th July in the evening

Get a group of friends together to enjoy a different sort of evening! Tickets are £20 per head for supper, casino tables and music. Please email either Di or Sarah to book your tickets.

Lost Property
	The lost property box is now to be found just inside the clubhouse door per attached photo. It is nearly overflowing so please reclaim your stuff!

GMLTC in the Park
	The Queens Birthday Party celebrations will be taking place on the Buryfield, Great Missenden, on Saturday 11th June. CT and GMLTC will be running a "beat the coach" competition for juniors, and a fastest serve competition for adults from 12 till 3 on the public courts. The village event ends at 7pm - Hog roast, live music & beer tent - what more could you wish for!

Table Tennis Team Opportunity at GMLTC

Table tennis has been played in the Chilterns for many years, and Chiltern Table Tennis League are looking for new venues, and players of all standards, to play table tennis. Following the success of a men's night fun table tennis event, I wondered if we as a club would like to put a team in. Each team consists of three players (male and or female), no age restriction, you play three matches, best of 5 games, up to 11 points. We generally start at around 19.30 and finish around 22.00. If we have enough interest we aim to play on a Thursday night. The season runs between October and March. You play on a home and away basis. Cost would be £4.00 per night, you will also be asked, on a rota basis to bring tea and biscuits, which we have through the evening.
It is fun, it is a challenge, but most of all it keeps the body moving and is good for hand and eye co-ordination. If you are interested contact Richard Higham on 01494 862520 or E mailhighamrt@hotmail.co.uk

GM Junior Open
	Entries are now open for the Great Missenden Junior Open - competition reference BUC16S1036 - any questions contact Jill - jillstiel@gmail.com The competition starts on Sunday 24th July with mini oranges & runs all week for the older kids - finals day is Saturday 30th July. Competitors from all around the country, the world & hopefully Great Missenden!
